AJ and Clover are looking better.
September 21, 2008
Good news for AJ, he had an abscess and that was causing his lameness. It has drained and he is already doing a lot better.
September 19, 2008
AJ went to the vet today because he has been lame on his right front leg. The vet took x-rays and prescribed three weeks of R and R.
Clover also had to see the vet today because her tear ducts had not been draining properly. Dr. Smith sedated her and flushed them out then prescribed an opthalmic ointment. Hopefully that will do the trick.
Thanks Dr. Smith.

Hopefully we will have it taken care of this week!

Welcome Noodle! Noodle is a Morgan and is being boardered here. He came all the way from Washington state. Right now Noodle will be staying in quarentine in the round pen. We want to make sure is free of all communicable diseases before he is turned out with the other horses. If you see Noodle, please do not touch or pet him. He will be out of quarentine on July 31. Horses that have been transported across the country have a high risk of being exposed to pathogens so that is why we are being extra cautious. Noodle’s stall is the one next to the tack room. For the time being his stall is closed to other horses and the round pen is also closed.
