Lessons

T-Jay Farms teaches all ages, levels of experiences, men and women, boys and girls. We focus on horse care, health, comfort as well as riding. We teach our students to be respectful of the horses and we teach them how to ride using a balanced position and use of all natural aids. T-Jay farms offers lessons in hunter/jumper, dressage, and English equitation. Our prices vary depending on the instructor.

From our students and their parents

“I started riding at T-Jay Farms about a little over a year ago and it is EXCELLENT!!! I really like Jennifer. She is very kind and really cares about each student. I would recommend it to everyone!!!” - Ashlie Forrester

“I have two daughters who have been taking lessons at T-Jay Farms for a year. Jennifer takes students and molds them into skillful riders. She allows the students to progress at their own pace in a non-competitive atmosphere. In addition to teaching students how to ride, she teaches care and respect of the horses. I have seen an enormous boost in my girls’ confidence along with learning responsibility and teamwork. You will not find a better instructional program!” - Amy Forrester

“As an adult rider, it’s sometimes difficult to make your (older) body do new tricks. Jennifer has the patience of a Saint when helping you practice challenging skills. She helps me accomplish the riding goals that I’ve set for myself, and she makes it fun at the same time.” - Carol Darrah

“My family’s experience with T-Jay Farms has been phenomenal. My daughter, Brandi, and son, Hunter, have both taken lessons. Horses are Brandi’s passion. She is a member of T-Jay’s show team. Jennifer’s caring and expert instruction have enabled her to learn a great deal about horsemanship as well as proper technique for hunter/jumper equitation. I have seen her self-confidence grow. Jennifer teaches her students all aspects of equine care, which is what we were looking for in an instructor. T-Jay Farms provides a safe, porfessional venue for all horse lovers. I highly recommend T-Jay Farms.” - Angela Bright

“Considering I have no previous experience with horses at any level, choosing a program for my 7 year old son, Hudson, was more difficult than I imagined.  Several people in the community referred us to Jennifer and the experience has been amazing.   My son has learned so much that you would never know he has only been there for one year.  His confidence and knowledge in riding, grooming and general care has grown so much, that the only thing he seems to struggle with from week to week is which lesson horse is his FAVORITE!  The farm, program and all facilities are top-notch.  I would highly recommend lessons for any age, gender or experience level!”   - Sherry Grogan
